About the Role

Your Teaching are partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in South London to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant.

This role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. The school are seeking someone who can provide consistent, nurturing support and help children feel confident, secure, and engaged in their learning.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis

Adapting learning activities to meet individual needs

Working alongside teachers and SEN staff to implement support strategies

Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development

Creating a safe, supportive and engaging environment for all pupils

What We’re Looking For

A caring, patient and resilient individual

Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs (desirable)

A strong interest in child development and inclusive education

A proactive and flexible approach

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
