About the Role

Your Teaching are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in East London to recruit a kind, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.

In this rewarding role, you will be supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties. The school are looking for someone who can provide calm, consistent support and help children feel safe, understood, and confident in their learning environment.

This is a highly fulfilling opportunity for someone who values building strong relationships and making a meaningful difference in children’s lives.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting pupils with SEN on a one-to-one or small group basis

Helping children access learning through tailored support and encouragement

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to follow individual education plans

Promoting independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

Creating a calm, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

A warm, patient and compassionate approach

Experience working with children with SEN or additional needs (preferred but not essential)

A genuine passion for supporting children’s development

A positive, flexible and proactive attitude

Strong communication and teamwork skills
